Welcome to A Roll of the Dice. My name is Paul. The aim of this blog is not only to promote the games and all we sell in our shop but also to help those trying to understand autism. To give a little bit of my background, I’m in my mid-forties and have only recently realised I have autism. For decades, I didn't understand why I found some things difficult and ended up being diagnosed with depression and spent over 15 years on antidepressants. Having looked into autism to help with my children. I realised I have a lot of the traits as well. It also helps explain my love of games, rules and often the lore behind a lot of the games. Using this blog, I hope to go through the games I enjoy, as well as explain how my autism manifests itself. I'm also sharing this blog with my daughter Ella, who will go through her experiences having autism as a girl, as well as what games her and her friends enjoy.
